Several ARC licensees selling into China are already leveraging SMIC to produce a range of ARC-Based designs for high-volume embedded applications. Using ARC’s configurable CPU/DSP cores and multimedia subsystems, coupled with SMIC’s manufacturing processes, customers can further develop lower cost products that are uniquely tuned to the end application.
