Mentor Graphics (ModelSim)Mentor Graphics provides ARC customers with critical tools for solving the increasingly complicated problems of verifying that today’s complex chip designs actually function as intended. As a member of the ModelSim Value Added Partnership (VAP) program, ARC has collaborated with Mentor to enable the seamless integration of the ModelSim Verilog simulator with ARC’s ARChitect processor configurator. SOC designers can configure an ARC-Based SOC using ARChitect and then, using a simple GUI interface, select ModelSim as the simulation target. ARChitect will then generate full scripts to support moving the custom-configured ARC Core or multimedia subsystem into simulation. |
